Yakkity Yak is an Australian/American/Canadian animated television series created by Mark Gravas that ran on Nickelodeon from November 9, 2002 to December 12, 2003. The show was known for its extreme lack of reality, and for its extreme silliness and featured a style of animation which broke with past Nickelodeon tradition. The show features an anthropomorphic yak named Yakkity who wants to make it to stardom by becoming a comedian. Along the way, he has adventures with his two best friends Keo and Lemony, a young human girl.

Haidar worries about his father, who drinks, and his father worries about Haidar, who is growing up in a Stockholm suburb where violence constantly looms in the background. Hani Al Abra skillfully crafts a tender portrayal of a strained father-and-son relationship shaped by external circumstances.

It relates a time-slip story which takes Jung Yak Yong, known as Dasan, one of the greatest thinkers in the later Joseon period, from the past in 1818 to the present in 2022, as he becomes elected as the 20th president of the Republic of Korea. Jung Yak Yong was a Korean agronomist, philosopher, and poet. During his time, he wrote highly influential books about philosophy, science and theories of government and held significant administrative positions.

A Thai intelligence officer (Sompop Benjatikul) infiltrates the enemy`s military forces of Chiang Riang by assuming the identity of a murdered colonel who was also a double agent. The murdered colonel, married to Lamduan (Naiyana Sheewanun), worked for the government`s Central Bureau while also being an informant for Red China and working to help the local People`s Army.
